Статья посвящена сравнительному анализу террористической тактики террористов, в частности поиску макро-причин обращения к политическим убийствам видных государственных и общественных деятелей. Исследуются политические и социальные-экономические условия, связанные с политическими убийствами, совершенными террористами, в сравнении с условиями, связанными с нападениями террористов-смертников. В ходе исследования была построена серия отрицательных биноминальных регрессионных моделей для четырех периодов с 1995 по 2011 годы. В результате были выявлены некоторые коренные причины, однозначно влияющие на применение террористической тактики в форме политических убийств. Полученные выводы свидетельствуют о том, что террористическая тактика проистекает из различных глубинных проблем страны.
